LASTRIDE帰り時 JAEN

Terms of Use

Last updated: 12 October 2026. This is a translation for convenience; if it differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.

These terms set out the conditions for using LastRide (帰り時, “the app”), provided by its operator (“we”). By using the app you agree to them.

1. App licence (EULA)

The app is licensed to you under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add the conditions for using the service.

2. The service and accuracy

The app shows last and first train times, when to leave, walking times, taxi fare estimates and nearby places. These are estimates based on Public Transportation Open Data Center data, Apple Maps data and our own calculations, and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete or current. Delays, cancellations, timetable changes and traffic can make them differ from reality. Please do not contact rail or other transport operators about what the app shows; contact us instead.

3. Your responsibility

Check service status with stations and operators as well; the final decision is yours. Don’t use the app while walking or driving. Notifications and alarms may not arrive depending on device settings, battery or connection.

4. Premium (auto-renewing subscription)

5. Groups

Don’t use display names that impersonate or offend others, and share invite links and join codes only with people you trust. Hosts can remove members or disband the group; we may remove groups or names that break these terms.

6. Prohibited

Unlawful conduct; unauthorised access to or excessive load on the app or servers, including automated bulk queries; extracting, copying or redistributing the app’s data (including map and timetable data); decompiling or modifying the app or anything else Apple’s licence prohibits; harassing or impersonating others.

7. Intellectual property

Rights in the app belong to us or their rightful owners. Map data belongs to Apple; public transport data to the Public Transportation Open Data Center and the operators (Toei Subway data: Bureau of Transportation, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, CC BY 4.0).

8. Changes to the service

We may change, suspend or end the app without notice, but will give reasonable advance notice before ending a paid service.

9. Liability

Except in cases of our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for damage arising from using or being unable to use the app (including transport or accommodation costs after missing a train). Where we are liable, except for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, liability is limited to ordinary direct damage up to the amount you paid for the app in the month the damage arose. Where the Consumer Contract Act or other law prevents this, the law applies.

10. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms; changes and their effective date will be announced on this page. Using the app after a change means you accept it.

11. Law and courts

These terms are governed by Japanese law. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
